  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
For the Tomato Base
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 can (15 oz) canned tomato sauce plain sauce is ideal
For the Creaminess
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • cup water as needed to adjust consistency

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes until shimmering.
  2. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the onions are translucent.
  3. Incorporate minced garlic and ginger into the pan. Stir for about 1 minute.
  4. Add cumin, turmeric, coriander, paprika, cayenne, and garam masala. Stir for approximately 30 seconds.
  5. Introduce tomato paste and canned tomato sauce. Mix well and add 1/2 cup of water. Bring to a boil.
  6. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Finish by stirring in the heavy cream and simmer on low heat for an additional 3-5 minutes.
