Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 2 fillets Salmon Use fresh or thawed from frozen.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Can be substituted with avocado oil.
  • to taste Salt For seasoning.
  • to taste Black Pepper For seasoning.
For the Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Low-fat version can be used.
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha Adjust for heat preference.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Can be swapped with agave nectar or maple syrup.
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce Use low-sodium variety for a lighter dish.
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice Fresh lime juice is preferred.
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil Optional but recommended.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh garlic can be used.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Powder Fresh ginger can be used.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Ensure salmon fillets are completely thawed if previously frozen, and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Season both sides of the salmon generously with salt and black pepper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sriracha, honey, soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger powder; whisk until smooth.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the seasoned salmon skin-side down.
  5. Bake salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Drizzle the Bang Bang sauce over the salmon and garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
  7. Serve with steamed rice, quinoa, or a fresh green salad.
