Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the seasoned chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Add chicken broth to the skillet and bring to a boil.
  4. Once boiling, stir in orzo pasta, cover, and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook for 8-10 minutes until orzo is al dente.
  5. Stir in broccoli florets with 3 minutes left of cooking time.
  6. Lower heat and gradually stir in milk (or heavy cream) until creamy.
  7. Add shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted.
  8. Fold in sliced chicken and mix well. Adjust seasoning.
  9. Optionally, broil for 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
