Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat for about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the black beans and corn, then add cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat through for about 3–5 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the cheddar and mozzarella cheese, saving about half for later.
  5. Spread the beef mixture in a 9x13 inch baking dish, sprinkle half of the cheese on top, and arrange frozen tater tots evenly.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Add the reserved cheese mixture over the top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
