  3. Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar; then add chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Add shredded carrots and sliced cabbage; reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 15 minutes.
  5. For a creamy texture, drizzle in beaten eggs while stirring gently into the simmering soup.
