Step-by-Step Instructions for Creamy Salmon Pasta
  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add salmon to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and flake easily. Remove and flake into bite-sized pieces.
  4. In the skillet, lower the heat and add cottage cheese and cream. Stir over medium-low heat for 2-3 minutes until well combined and heated through.
  5. Fold in the flaked salmon into the creamy mixture for about 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  6. Add the drained pasta to the skillet, folding it into the creamy mixture. Stir for 2-3 minutes until heated and coated.
  7. Sprinkle in Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
