Preparation Steps
  1. Start by washing and peeling the large apples if you desire, then slice them into 1/2 inch wedges.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon to create a flavorful coating for your apple fries.
  3. Prepare a convenient breading station by placing three separate bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Dredge each apple wedge in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
