- Start by washing and peeling the large apples if you desire, then slice them into 1/2 inch wedges.
- In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon to create a flavorful coating for your apple fries.
- Prepare a convenient breading station by placing three separate bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each apple wedge in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumb mixture.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
- Arrange the coated apple wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket and spray the tops with cooking spray. Air fry for 8-10 minutes.
