Preparation Steps
  1. Wash broccoli florets and trim into small pieces. Blanch in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then cool in ice bath and drain.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine broccoli, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add egg and mix gently.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls or patties.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and grease the basket.
  5. Place poppers in a single layer in the basket, ensuring space between each.
  6. Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, checking halfway for even browning.
  7. Remove poppers and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
