Cabbage Steaks
  • 1 head green cabbage fresh
  • 1/4 cup butter or olive oil for moisture and flavor
Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning or favorite seasoning mix
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt or regular salt and minced garlic

Preparation
  1. Pour 1/4 cup of water beneath the air fryer basket and preheat the air fryer to 360°F for about 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and slice it into 3/4-inch thick steaks.
  3. Place one cabbage steak in the air fryer basket, top with 1 tablespoon of butter or olive oil, and sprinkle seasoning evenly.
  4. Close the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes until crispy and tender.
  5. Check for crispiness after 8 minutes; add 1-2 more minutes if needed.
  6. Remove from air fryer and serve immediately.
