  4. In a saucepan, combine lemon juice, lemon zest, maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry, add it to the glaze while stirring and let it thicken for 1 to 2 minutes.
