Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Press the sugar cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan and blind bake for 20 minutes.
  3. Lower the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C) and prepare a water bath.
  4. In a stand mixer, blend the cream cheese, sour cream, and sugar until smooth, then add eggs and vanilla.
  5. Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust and bake for about 55 minutes.
  6. Let the cheesecake cool gradually in the oven for 1 hour, then cool completely on a wire rack.
