  • 1 tablespoon Flax Seeds Chia seeds can be used as a substitute.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon Can be omitted.
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk Any milk can be used.
For Sweetening
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup Consider agave syrup or honey as alternatives.
For the Fruit
  • 1/2 cup Blueberries Substitute with strawberries or raspberries if desired.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl or mason jar, combine 1/2 cup of old-fashioned rolled oats, 1 tablespoon of flax seeds, and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Stir the dry mixture thoroughly.
  2. Pour in 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.
  3. Gently fold in 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries. Be careful not to mash the blueberries.
  4. Cover the bowl or jar and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  5. In the morning, stir the mixture and adjust with more blueberries and almond milk if desired.
