- In a large mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, relish, sugar, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
- Dice ham and cheddar cheese into bite-sized cubes. Mince onion, finely chop bell pepper, and chop parsley.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add bow tie pasta and cook for 9 to 11 minutes until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- In the bowl with the dressing, add cooled pasta, diced ham, cheese, minced onion, peas, chopped bell pepper, and parsley. Gently toss until well-coated.
- Transfer salad to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
