Ingredients
  

For the Salad
  • 1 pound Ground Beef or Ground Turkey
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning homemade for tailored flavor
  • 4 cups Romaine Lettuce chopped
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes diced
  • 1 can Canned Black Beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 can Canned Corn drained
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese or Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 bag Nacho Cheese Doritos for crunch
  • 1 bottle Catalina or Ranch Dressing for dressing
For the Crunchy Topper
  • 1 bag Extra Doritos for serving

Method
 

Instructions for Doritos Taco Salad
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté ground beef until it's nicely browned, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat, add taco seasoning and a splash of water, simmer for 2–3 minutes until well combined, then remove from heat.
  2. Chop romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and dice cherry tomatoes. Arrange your prepped vegetables on a cutting board.
  3. In a large bowl, combine chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, black beans, corn, and any other veggies. Toss lightly to create a fresh base.
  4. Layer the seasoned beef over the salad base and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Just before serving, crush Nacho Cheese Doritos over the top of the salad for added crunch.
  6. Drizzle your dressing over the salad and gently toss to coat without crushing the chips. Serve immediately.
