Instructions for Doritos Taco Salad
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté ground beef until it's nicely browned, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat, add taco seasoning and a splash of water, simmer for 2–3 minutes until well combined, then remove from heat.
- Chop romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and dice cherry tomatoes. Arrange your prepped vegetables on a cutting board.
- In a large bowl, combine chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, black beans, corn, and any other veggies. Toss lightly to create a fresh base.
- Layer the seasoned beef over the salad base and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Just before serving, crush Nacho Cheese Doritos over the top of the salad for added crunch.
- Drizzle your dressing over the salad and gently toss to coat without crushing the chips. Serve immediately.
