Ingredients

For the Sorbet
  • 2 cups Raspberries Fresh or frozen; rinse fresh raspberries thoroughly.
  • 1/2 cup Cane Sugar Feel free to substitute with granulated white sugar.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Optional; use fresh lemon juice for better flavor.

Equipment

  • Ninja Creami
  • High-speed blender
  • Airtight container

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. If using frozen raspberries, set them out to thaw for 30 minutes to 1 hour. For fresh raspberries, rinse them under cool water and dry.
  2. In a blender, combine thawed raspberries, cane sugar, and lemon juice. Blend on high until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  3. Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, seal tightly, and freeze completely for at least 24 hours.
  4. After freezing, scrape off any dome of frozen raspberries on top.
  5. Insert the container into the Ninja Creami, select the SORBET setting, and blend for about 2 minutes.
  6. If the mixture appears crumbly, use the RESPIN cycle, adding a splash of juice if necessary, until smooth.
  7. Scoop the sorbet into chilled bowls and serve immediately.
