Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven or air fryer to 350°F.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, chicken broth, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, and black pepper. Stir and simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Create a slurry with all-purpose flour and water until smooth. Gradually add to the sauce, stirring constantly, and cook for another 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  4. Spread approximately 3 tablespoons of the creamy Alfredo sauce over each pita.
  5. Top with cooked chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh spinach, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. If using the oven, bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. For the air fryer, cook at 350°F for 5-6 minutes, checking halfway through.
