Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash the strawberries under cold water, hull them, and slice evenly into quarter-inch pieces. Set aside in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Rinse the cucumber under cool water and slice thinly, about an eighth of an inch thick. Add cucumber to the bowl with strawberries.
  3. Peel the red onion and slice thinly, aiming for quarter-inch slices. Adjust quantity for taste. Add to the salad bowl.
  4. Gently toss strawberries, cucumber, and red onion in the bowl.
  5. Chop fresh mint and basil leaves coarsely. Add to salad and ensure even distribution.
  6. Gently toss all ingredients together again to blend.
  7. Crumble feta cheese over the salad and sprinkle with walnuts.
  8. Drizzle balsamic glaze and extra virgin olive oil over the salad.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste, tossing gently again to mix.
  10. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes before serving.
