- Preheat your oven to 320°F (160°C) and prepare a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Combine cream cheese, sugar, milk, and unsalted butter in a bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy for 3-4 minutes.
- Add egg yolks one at a time to the mixture, mixing well after each addition. Beat for another 2-3 minutes until glossy.
- In a separate bowl, whip egg whites until soft peaks form, taking about 3-5 minutes.
- Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the cream cheese mixture in three additions to maintain volume.
- Sift in the flour and salt, mixing gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into lined muffin cups, filling them two-thirds full.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until lightly golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
