  • 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans, toasted for flavor
For the Dressing
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar or red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup for vegan option
  • 1/4 cup olive oil extra-virgin preferred

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Rinse the spring mix salad greens under cold water and dry them with a salad spinner.
  2. Add halved cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and thinly sliced red onion to the bowl.
  3. Toast walnuts or pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes.
