Step-by-Step Instructions for Grilled Peppers
- Wash and dry the bell peppers thoroughly. Cut each pepper in half and remove seeds and membranes.
- Drizzle olive oil over the cut sides of the peppers. Sprinkle with sea salt, black pepper, and oregano. Rub seasoning and oil evenly.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 400°F (200°C). Preheat for at least 10-15 minutes.
- Place the peppers skin-side down on the grill. Grill for 5-7 minutes until skins are blistered and charred.
- Flip the peppers over so the flesh side is down and grill for an additional 2-3 minutes until tender.
- Remove from the grill. Optionally sprinkle minced garlic over warm peppers. Serve warm or at room temperature.
