Cooking Steps
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped shallots, sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in white wine and simmer for 2-3 minutes until reduced slightly.
- Add mussels to the skillet, cover with a lid, and steam for about 5-6 minutes until they open.
- Stir in the deveined shrimp and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they turn pink.
- Toss in the reserved linguine, pasta water, lemon juice, and parsley over low heat.
- Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, black pepper, and lemon wedges.
