Preparation Steps
  1. Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Combine cooled brown butter with dark brown sugar and granulated sugar; mix until creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and chocolate chunks.
  7. Chill dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  9. Drop dough onto baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
  10. Remove from oven, sprinkle with sea salt flakes, and cool on a wire rack.
