Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Combine warm water, sugar, and instant yeast in a bowl. Let it rest for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add olive oil, flour, and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 6 to 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl covered with a towel for 1 hour.
  5. Punch down the dough, divide it into 12 pieces, and shape each into a knot.
  6. Place knots on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cover, and let rise for 20 to 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 15 to 18 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Melt butter over low heat, add minced garlic for 1-2 minutes, then stir in parsley.
  9. Brush baked knots with garlic butter and sprinkle with sea salt before serving.
