Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of oil over medium heat. Add the lean ground beef and cook for about 6-7 minutes, or until browned.
  2. Add diced onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the skillet. Sauté for about 2 minutes until onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, and sesame oil to the beef mixture. Allow to simmer for approximately 5 minutes.
  4. In another skillet, melt a little butter over medium-low heat. Toast the cut sides of your hamburger buns for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Assemble by spooning the Korean beef filling onto the bottom half of each bun. Add fresh toppings as desired.
  6. Place the top half of the bun over the filling and serve immediately.
