Method
 

Cookie Preparation
  1. Cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in the egg yolks and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour and cornstarch, then gradually add it to the wet ingredients.
  4. Transfer the dough to a piping bag and pipe onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  6. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. Melt dark chocolate and dip half of each cookie once cooled.
  8. Sprinkle with decorative toppings while chocolate is still wet.
