Cookie Preparation
- Cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg yolks and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour and cornstarch, then gradually add it to the wet ingredients.
- Transfer the dough to a piping bag and pipe onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Melt dark chocolate and dip half of each cookie once cooled.
- Sprinkle with decorative toppings while chocolate is still wet.
