  • 1 tsp garlic powder fresh minced garlic can be used
  • 3 tbsp scallions can replace with chives
  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken or any cooked chicken
  • 3 cups farfalle pasta any short pasta can be used
  • 1 tsp salt adjust according to taste
  • 1 tsp pepper adjust according to taste
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Ritz crackers or any buttery cracker
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter or margarine as an alternative
Optional Garnish
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Gather all your ingredients and equipment.
  2. Cook farfalle pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, softened cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, and sour cream. Add onion powder, garlic powder, and scallions. Mix until smooth.
  4. Fold cooked pasta and shredded chicken into creamy mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Crush Ritz crackers in a separate bowl, melt butter, and mix until crackers are coated.
  6. Spray a casserole dish with non-stick spray and transfer chicken and pasta mixture into the dish.
  7. Sprinkle the cracker topping evenly over the casserole.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Cover with foil if browning too quickly.
  9. Let the casserole rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
