  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Slice each jalapeno in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes using a small spoon.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon bits, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  4. Fill each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture, mounding it slightly. Top with remaining cheddar and bacon bits.
  5. Arrange the filled jalapenos on the baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
