  • 1 pound Large or Extra-Large Shrimp Choose shrimp that are 21–30 per pound
For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Adds rich flavor
  • 3 tablespoons Butter Regular or vegan butter can be used
  • 4 cloves Fresh Garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Optional, for heat
  • ½ cup Chicken or Vegetable Broth Choose your preference
  • ¼ cup Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Zest For added aroma
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley Chopped, for garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels, and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat until melted.
  3. Cook the shrimp in a single layer for 1–2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  4. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic in remaining butter for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Pour in broth and lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the skillet; simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Return shrimp to skillet, tossing gently in the sauce, and cook for an additional 1–2 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat, stir in lemon zest and parsley, and mix well to coat the shrimp.
