- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels, and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat until melted.
- Cook the shrimp in a single layer for 1–2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
- Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic in remaining butter for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in broth and lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the skillet; simmer for 2 minutes.
- Return shrimp to skillet, tossing gently in the sauce, and cook for an additional 1–2 minutes.
- Remove from heat, stir in lemon zest and parsley, and mix well to coat the shrimp.
