  • 1 pound beef strips (flank steak or sirloin)
For the Noodles
  • 8 ounces rice noodles for gluten-free option
For the Sauce
  • 1/3 cup hoisin sauce or oyster sauce as a substitute
For the Vegetables
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli) or seasonal veggies
For the Aromatics
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
Optional Toppings
  • 2 tablespoons green onions (sliced) for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (toasted) for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Boil a large pot of water. Add rice noodles and cook according to package instructions, about 4-6 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1-2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add thinly sliced beef strips to the skillet. Cook for 3-5 minutes until browned.
  5. Add mixed chopped vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.
  6. Pour in hoisin sauce and mix thoroughly, cooking for another minute.
  7. Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss for 1-2 minutes to coat with sauce.
  8. Serve hot, garnishing with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
