Step-by-Step Instructions for Cowboy Casserole
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (355°F).
- In a non-stick skillet, heat over medium-high heat and add the lean ground beef. Cook for 5-6 minutes until fully browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion, minced garlic, and taco seasoning. Cook for 3-4 minutes until onion is translucent.
- Stir in crushed roasted tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Mix in canned corn and diced green bell pepper. Stir well to combine.
