For the Pastry
  • 1 package Phyllo or Puff Pastry Sheets Layer phyllo with melted butter or use puff pastry as-is.
  • 2 tablespoons Melted Butter For brushing on the pastry.
For Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat for 8–10 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, salt, and pepper. Scramble in non-stick skillet over medium-low heat for 3–4 minutes.
  3. For phyllo, brush layers with melted butter and preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). For puff pastry, roll out and cut into rectangles.
  4. Place a cooked sausage link on pastry, add eggs and a sprinkle of cheese. Don’t overfill.
  5. Roll the pastry tightly and seal edges. Place seam-side down on baking sheet.
  6. Brush tops with melted butter and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes, then serve warm with dips like ketchup or hot sauce.
