Step-By-Step Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add 1 pound of ground beef and sear without stirring for about 4-5 minutes until browned. Break it up and cook for another minute.
  3. Stir in 3 cloves of minced garlic and 1 tablespoon of grated ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar with a dash of black pepper. Cook for 1 minute to thicken.
  5. Add chopped bok choy stems and stir-fry for 1 minute.
  6. Add bok choy leaves and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until wilted but crisp.
