Step-by-Step Instructions for Shanghai Fried Noodles
  1. Marinate the Pork: Slice pork into thin strips, combine with soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Cook the Noodles: Boil salted water, add noodles, cook for 5-7 minutes until al dente, drain and rinse with cold water.
  3. Sauté the Pork: Heat oil in pan, add marinated pork, stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until cooked through, remove and set aside.
  4. Add the Vegetables: In the same pan, add oil if needed, add cabbage, mushrooms, and green onions, stir-fry for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Return pork to pan with drained noodles, add soy sauce, stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until combined.
  6. Serve and Garnish: Transfer to plates, garnishing with green onions or sesame seeds, and enjoy immediately.
