Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) to achieve crispy tofu.
- Drain and pat dry the block of firm tofu, then slice into thin shavings about 1/8 inch thick.
- In a bowl, whisk together vegetable broth, Bragg's Liquid Aminos, liquid smoke, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Pour over tofu and let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Lightly grease a sheet pan with olive oil or line with parchment paper.
- Arrange marinated tofu slices in a single layer on the prepared pan, ensuring space between each slice.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until edges are golden and crispy.
- Remove from oven, cool slightly, and serve or store in the fridge.
