  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder can use fresh garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional for heat
  • 1 tablespoon light olive oil for greasing
For Baking
  • 1 sheet parchment paper for oil-free cooking
  • 1 spray spray oil optional for extra crunch

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) to achieve crispy tofu.
  2. Drain and pat dry the block of firm tofu, then slice into thin shavings about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together vegetable broth, Bragg's Liquid Aminos, liquid smoke, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Pour over tofu and let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Lightly grease a sheet pan with olive oil or line with parchment paper.
  5. Arrange marinated tofu slices in a single layer on the prepared pan, ensuring space between each slice.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until edges are golden and crispy.
  7. Remove from oven, cool slightly, and serve or store in the fridge.
