Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by boiling 2 cups of water in a kettle. Pour the water over 2 Earl Grey tea bags placed in a heatproof jug. Allow to steep for about 5 minutes.
- While the tea is steeping, wash and pit approximately half a cup of fresh cherries. Slice them in half to enhance their flavor.
- Remove the tea bags from the jug. Add halved cherries and sweetener. Let it steep for an additional 5 minutes.
- Pour in desired amount of milk or cream, stirring gently to combine. The tea will turn a lovely shade of pink.
- For an iced version, prepare a glass filled with ice cubes before pouring the tea over the top. Serve warm in your favorite cup if preferred.
- Garnish with an extra cherry or sprig of fresh mint for elegance and aroma.
