Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a small saucepan, place ½ cup of unsalted butter over medium heat. Allow it to melt gradually, watching for slight bubbling. This should take about 3-5 minutes. Ensure the butter doesn't brown.
- Once the butter has melted, add 5 minced garlic cloves. Stir continuously for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant and opaque, avoiding browning.
- Stir in 1 tablespoon of spicy chili garlic sauce, ½ teaspoon of smoked paprika, and ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper, if using. Sprinkle in salt and black pepper to taste. Mix well and heat for about 1 minute.
- Lower heat to a gentle simmer, then add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of honey. Stir and allow to simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley. Serve warm.
