Preparation
- Wash and chop all your vegetables: broccoli, bell pepper, zucchini, and mushrooms. Mince the garlic and measure out your soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and chili flakes.
Cook Beef
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add sesame oil. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in soy sauce, chili flakes, and brown sugar; simmer for 2 minutes.
Sauté Veggies
- In another pan, heat olive oil. Add minced garlic for 30 seconds, add mushrooms, and cook for 2 minutes. Then add broccoli, bell pepper, and zucchini, stir-fry for 4 to 5 minutes. Drizzle with soy sauce.
Assemble Bowl
- Place steamed rice in a bowl, top with ground beef mixture, then sautéed veggies. Drizzle with any leftover sauce from the skillet.

Notes
Use day-old rice for better texture. Don't overcook veggies to retain color. Adjust spice levels to taste. Always use fresh garlic for maximum flavor. Mix proteins as desired.
