Preparation Steps

  5. Combine the melted butter mixture with the egg mixture while whisking continuously.
  6. Fold in the dry ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

  8. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes for a 9-inch pan, or 40 minutes for an 8-inch pan until edges are firm.
