Step-by-Step Instructions for Mango Salad
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, agave or honey, Aleppo pepper, oil, and salt until smooth and glossy. Set aside.
  2. Peel the ripe mangoes and slice them into thin, bite-sized pieces. Place them in a large serving bowl.
  3. Wash and dice the red bell pepper and slice the red onion. Add to the bowl with the sliced mango.
  4. Gently toss together the mango, bell pepper, and red onion. Add torn basil leaves if using.
  5. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and gently fold it in to coat the ingredients.
  6. Garnish with chopped cilantro and an extra pinch of Aleppo pepper. Serve immediately.
