Step-by-Step Instructions for Mango Salad
- In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, agave or honey, Aleppo pepper, oil, and salt until smooth and glossy. Set aside.
- Peel the ripe mangoes and slice them into thin, bite-sized pieces. Place them in a large serving bowl.
- Wash and dice the red bell pepper and slice the red onion. Add to the bowl with the sliced mango.
- Gently toss together the mango, bell pepper, and red onion. Add torn basil leaves if using.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad and gently fold it in to coat the ingredients.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and an extra pinch of Aleppo pepper. Serve immediately.
