Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Cream together the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the large egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  5. Drop rounds of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly.
