For Brushing
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Use a high-heat oil for best results.
For Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Essential to elevate the corn's natural flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adds delightful smoky taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Optional; consider a blend of salted and garlic butter.
  • 1 tablespoon Mexican street corn seasoning Optional; adds extra flavor.

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Silicone Brush
  • Vegetable brush

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F to 450°F.
  2. Shuck the corn, removing the outer husk and silk strands.
  3. Place the shucked corn directly onto the hot grates.
Grilling
  1. Grill for about 3 minutes before turning for even cooking.
  2. Brush with olive oil using a silicone brush and grill for an additional 8 to 12 minutes, turning occasionally.
  3. Check for doneness; kernels should have a nice golden-brown char and be tender to the bite.
  4. Transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Optionally, add pats of butter.
